A dedicated website and email address have been established by the New Canaan Police Department in connection with the search for Jennifer Dulos, as efforts to find the missing mother-of-five stretch into the 17th day.
"In addition to the tip line, 203-594-3544, to further gather information regarding Jennifer's disappearance we now have a dedicated e-mail [hidden email] and website www.FindJenniferDulos.com," announced New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski on Monday. "We urge everyone with information regarding Jennifer's disappearance to contact us.
We will not rest until we find Jennifer."
The criminal and missing person investigation has not ceased since Jennifer Dulos disappeared on May 24, with New Canaan and state police searching several properties connected to either Jennifer Dulos or estranged husband Fotis Dulos in New Canaan, Farmington, Avon and Pound Ridge, NY.
Additionally, authorities have scoured a long stretch of roads in Hartford, and a garbage collection facility, because a police arrest warrant states that Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, were seen dumping bags of trash and other items in the area.
Many of those items have been recovered, and some tested positive for Jennifer Dulos' blood.
Members of the state police were back at the Hartford garbage plant on Monday searching for clues to her disappearance, according to New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro.
"Information from the public has aided the progress of this investigation," Krolikowski said, adding that the department has already received more than 300 tips in the case, and nearly 75 responses to a request of surveillance video from local residents and businesses.
Fotis Dulos and Troconis have been charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and first-degree hindering prosecution, and last week Troconis reportedly met with prosecutors and led state police on a search behind one of Fotis Dulos' properties.
Fotis Dulos also has retained a new attorney, Norm Pattis, to represent him.
Pattis is the aggressive attorney who has represented, among others, controversial InfoWars host Alex Jones and Jennifer Valiente, the girlfriend of convicted killer Kyle Navin.
Contacted by Patch, Pattis' media represented released the following statement:
Norm Pattis, one of America's most successful and controversial defense lawyers, was retained Friday night by Fotis Dulos, the ex-husband of missing Connecticut woman Jennifer Dulos, following his arrest for allegedly tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution of a prospective homicide investigation.
Pattis and his law partner Kevin Smith will first appear for Fotis Dulos in the Connecticut court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, June 11.
Returning from a client meeting in Austin, Texas lawyer Pattis comments:
"We were retained on Friday night. I am in Texas on another case and will be returning tomorrow (Sunday). Kevin Smith and I have read the arrest warrant and supporting information and look forward to learning more about this unusual case.
I caution the world at large that things are rarely as they appear early on in a sensationalized investigation like this one. The rush to judgement stops now as does the conviction by innuendo. If necessary, we'll let a jury decide what happened here."
Pattis and Smith are no strangers to high profile cases.
Norm Pattis currently represents Alex Jones and Infowars in civil suits filed against them by survivors of the Sandy Hook shootings, the ex-wife of Russian billionaire Shalva Chigirinsky, Tatiana Panchenkova, in a bitter custody battle, along with recent trial wins on behalf of Saifullah Khan a Yale student accused of raping a classmate in her dorm room, the Tennis Shoe Murder case against Jon Gibbs in a case of mistaken identity, and the celebrated Manhattan Madam (Anna Gristina) case in New York.
